Job Overview:
We’re looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Intern to join our dynamic team. As an intern, you will assist in managing and growing our social media presence, helping us engage with our audience, share key insights, and amplify our policy-driven initiatives. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital communications and build a portfolio while contributing to an impactful startup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Social Media Content Creation: Assist in developing engaging and informative content for social media platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
• Community Engagement: Monitor social media channels and engage with followers, respond to comments, and help build an active online community.
• Campaign Support: Assist in the planning and execution of social media campaigns to promote policy insights, research, and projects.
• Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve engagement and reach.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and incorporate them into the firm’s strategy.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the communications team to align content with the firm’s messaging and strategic objectives.

   

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Media Studies, Political Science, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative and able to think outside the box for content ideas.
• Proficient in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced startup environment.
• Interest in public policy, social media marketing, and digital communication.
